a blessing of one kind in simple act of caring

can sometimes still feel overwhelmed for the fact that om joe is serving at IPC, not to say that serving among the Indo people is actually his passion. personally think that these four words make a lot of sense to associate him with: dedication, humility, knowledgable and approachable. can remember well when he once gave us a piece of simple advice which i think has a lot more meanings than just the simplicity of the advice itself, one like, don't shine, don't whinge, don't recline.

so last night even, om and aunty mavis were serving us dinner along the meeting that we had at his place, a service of generosity, while also accommodating us in preparing for pemuda's next year program kerja. being thankful for the fact that an example has been set, all credit is due to Christ, thru whom we can come to God who has prepared us for every good deed. may this be a blessing for us at IPC that thru your love and deeds, the church can be built up. things practise thru such simple unspoilt and undemanding actions, yet out of love.
