Valentine
Written by: Jim Brickman and Jack Kugell
Sung by: Martina McBride
Album: "Picture This"

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I’d still feel for you

Chorus:
And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
You’re all I need, my love, my Valentine
All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You’ve opened my eyes
And shown me how to love unselfishly

Chorus:
I’ve dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn’t love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time
You’re all I need, my love, my Valentine

Chorus:
And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
’Cause all I need is you, my Valentine
You’re all I need, my love, my Valentine

one wedding, a giant depilation of hairs

you name it, starting from head's, eyebrow's, armpit's, to leg's and most of them weren't without the company of sudden pains that feels like the stings of pointy needles. welcome to the age of depilation, especially if you r a woman. there hasn't been a single compliment that would come your way in case you think it's going to be a macho man equivalent of praise (as when they don't shave for a couple of days) when you don't depilate after a while. sigh!

slightly incoherent, and guess what, my experience has always been, never visit the same hairdresser twice!! or is it just maybe i haven't found a suitable one that will most likely give me satisfaying results. (speaking of hairs, there's a 'yuks' factor when hairs are not where they're supposed to be, i.e. food, sorry to have wasted your time in reading this line).

met a uni friend today, and her comment, "have you lost weight?", ooo.. of all the questions, she picked this one, we haven't seen each other for years, off course, head, "dude, i've never been increasing or decreasing a kilo since my growth process de-activated, two and a half years ago, though it's more likely that i don't gain a kilo than losing it one". it must be the hair!

o wedding.. off course.

i think it's rude to dedicate more in talking about hairs than a friend's wedding.

damnit! been assigned a job nobody wants, nothing else than a torture for me, i guess, i'm sick of doing admin stuffs for peeps, all i want to tell is let them get organised themselves. forgive about the cranky tone, but i'm relieved to have written this down. pay-back time ho!

it's a privilege nevertheless =)

lyd, hope you enjoy being carefree for those you're entitled to, in the midst of the tonnes that you both have to get done. but the best parts will always come later.. a hand to hold, a heart to cherish, a friend to love.. (sickness to care for, budget to spend, house chores to share, no turning point.. are you sure?) and a cross to bear as well.. (the best of best yet to come is the marriage to the 'lamb', my friend).

whether you like it or not..

winter's kicking in through the autumn, but the more years went through it, the more resistance i have toward it. feeling warm is the only way. therefore, shall stuff myself with drinking hot water, having warm baths, chewing ginger sweets, wrapping myself in layered clothes, i shall go pass this wintry feeling..

that desperate housewives, many have commented that there's too much mystery going on but not enough answers, the ending'd better be good! despite the bitchy theme surrounding most of its plots, one virtue (gosh! have i devalued the real meaning of the word by actually using it here) that gives it a warm tone is the fact that those four housewives sometime give supports to one another when the going get tough. just think that i have to appreciate this value, friends aren't for good fun only, period. please don't agree with me for liking this drama series (only for as far sake of entertainment).

Connections key to healthy heart

the article suggests to get connected. it's good for your heart. strange why it doesn't work the same with women, perhaps the whole thing gets too usual for women, that the benefit is ever-present.

cold turkey

..evangelism

regardless of the many opinions that you have in favor of or against it, it a bit too much for me to take on-board all arguments for the sake of asserting your stand, believing and actioning go hand in hand. correct, it's not supposed to be your silver bullet proof strategy toward lifestyle evangelism. correct, putting it in practice in fact benefits those doing it. But, far more correct is that fact that our God is a sovereign God, and it's His perogative if He's to reveal Himself to some, yet not to the others by any means. Dogmatic as some could be at times, there is always the tendency to think of oneself more highly than the others who don't hold the same views on less fundamental issues, or maybe not, still why should I be the judge, because i'm not.

all i want to say is that, i thank God for those who do it, and i thank God for those who are very capable of sharing the Gospel in an effective manner. let your actions speak, who do you honour.
